The Popular Show Season Four Unveils the Warriors Group

Ever since the premiere of Campaign 4, recently appointed game master the talented storyteller has kept viewers on edge with extensive world-building, a diverse cast of heroes, and a exciting storyline including divine entities, evil spirits, and sinister influences expanding in strength within the urban setting.

Note: Revealing details for Episode 3 of this adventure are included.

The Soldiers Table Introduced

The latest chapter finished on a dramatic pause and revealed the first table of heroes who will split off from the central cast to undertake their separate journey, distinct from the remaining groups.

The Soldiers table features Teor Pridesire (brought to life by the voice actor), Thimble (the talented performer), the strong-willed figure (Whitney), Wicander Halovar (Sam), and Kattigan (Robbie).

Why Split the Party?

Given 13 cast members, it was clear from the beginning that keeping everyone at the same party would be unworkable.

This explains, the opening chapters of this story serve as an Overture, intertwining the characters’ stories before splitting into three smaller tables: Fighters, Strategists, and Questers.

Characteristics of the Soldiers Table

As described by the Dungeon Master, the warrior group is for players who enjoy a typically action-packed fight-heavy story mode where diplomatic options are scarce.

At first glance, figures such as the squeamish cleric Wicander might appear mismatched, but the events of the latest installment show why these five characters are ideally matched for the warrior group.

Why They Must Go

For one thing, the party has a clear idea where to go next after a intense opening clash with the antagonists.

An old friend of Thjazi—whose passing kicked off the story’s plot—exploited the foes for his personal gain, breaking into the hidden lair, attacking the rogue, and taking all the magical artifacts to dispose of.

The antagonist then paid off his liabilities and ran away to a Halovar stronghouse in Gormalay, Timmony, north of the urban center, with Teor’s brother hot on his heels.

Personal Motivations

Secondly, each adventurer has a personal reason to depart Dol-Makjar:

  • Thimble, as the companion and closest confidant, desires revenge.
  • Kattigan knows the northern area and warns that it is a hostile place.
  • Tyranny and Wicander, having resisted his house’s orders to eliminate the fighter and instead freed him, have nowhere else to go.
  • But, their position as prominent individuals in the powerful family could assist the party enter areas they usually can’t.
  • Moreover, Teor pledged a unbreakable promise to Wicander for his salvation and will now accompany him anywhere.

Wanted and Hunted

Lastly, all of them are sought by the authorities that rule Dol-Makjar for a multiple motives, making lingering locally no longer safe:

  • The agile adventurer and The character are notorious outlaws.
  • The warrior and The cleric turned against House Halovar and the army of fiends they are allied with.
  • Teor is marked for death by the clan.

This results in them no alternative but to journey toward the remote area in search of the antagonist.

What’s Next?

Based on the recent installment’s post-show segment, we find out that the warrior group will be absent in the upcoming installment, leaving the remaining eight cast members to round up the Seekers and Schemers parties.

Viewers can look forward to learning which characters will be assigned to which table in the season’s last Overture episode, released on next week.
