The former president's Family Member Receives Expert Guidance from Tiger Woods Prior to LPGA Debut

Emerging athlete preparing for significant competition

The rising star maintains impressive online presence

Kai Trump will have numerous prominent supporters when she makes her first LPGA appearance this Thursday.

This teenage golfer, who is related to a former US president, received a special exemption to participate at Florida's Annika event in the Sunshine State.

Her grandfather, someone who loves golf, possesses multiple golf courses and often competes against Kai.

"He's quite skilled. I can't say much but we play some close matches," she mentioned.

She mentioned that her grandfather, who won't be present, advised her: "Just stay calm."

"He basically advised me to play and have fun," she continued.

"To me, he's just an ordinary family member. He's not attending this weekend. He's focused on running the country, so he's rather occupied."

While still amateur, Kai has played in only three events recently and holds ranking 461 in AJGA standings.

Yet she can get advice from golf legend, who is dating Vanessa.

"He represents the best player globally," the young golfer said.

"Additionally, he's a more impressive person. He told me to play, relax, following the flow."

The golfer will compete against some of the biggest names in the sport at the Annika, including second-ranked Nelly Korda, England's golfer Hull, professional Thompson and last year's winner Lilia Vu.

The LPGA commented that her participation exposes golf to new audiences, particularly reaching the next generation.

The social media influencer has substantial online presence and just introduced her own apparel and wellness brand.

She begins at 17:30 GMT.
