Jet Transporting Pete Hegseth Forced to Touch Down in UK Because of Crack in Windshield

A jet transporting the US defense secretary was forced to make an emergency landing in the UK on Wednesday following a fracture was found in the jet's front window, as stated by an official statement which verified that Hegseth was safe.

"The jet touched down in accordance with standard protocol and all passengers, among them Pete Hegseth, is secure," an official representative said in a social media post.

The secretary was coming back from a quick journey to the Belgian capital during the flight.

This incident isn't the first time that a United States armed forces jet ferrying a senior official has encountered technical problems.

In a previous incident this year, a United States Air Force aircraft carrying the US Secretary of State to the city in Germany was forced to turn back to the US capital after encountering a technical issue.
